More bloody snow!

I don’t mind it really, but it did bugger up the plans to do a circuit of Loch Ordie this afternoon. Unless you stay under the dense canopy, the surface is a treacherous mix of ice and snow. Even the backup to the backup plan had to be aborted due to too much ice around the Hermitage. And yes I know there is no snow in that picture!

What a beautiful day, clear blue skies crisp fresh air…..snow bloody everywhere!
It was pretty good despite the snow and ice and push up from the warmth of the Birnam Institute to the sunny heights of the Glen Garr pass. Not a great ride, but a truly excellent walk!

Loch Ordie route

In a former life I used to spend my days processing and analysing satellite images to help monitor environmental change. Remote sensing was often regarded as a solution looking for a problem. Well I reckon its come of age and is now useful to the masses!
